When you’re on your weight-loss or fitness journey you shouldn’t have to sacrifice a guilt-free drink. Whether you are Keto, Paleo, or just looking for a healthier alternative to a margarita this recipe is for you. I love making my margarita’s from scratch, it’s super easy.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz of quality tequila (I prefer Don Julio or Casamigos)
  • 1 oz of fresh lime juice (1 1/2 limes)
  • 2 tsp of Agave Nectar (low glycemic)
  • 2 oz of Orange Liqueur or Orange Seltzer (the orange liqueur I prefer is Cointreau)

Prep

  • Add tequila, fresh lime juice, agave, orange liqueur in ice filled shaker and shake well.
  • Our in glass with ice and serve.
