When it comes to traveling to Namibia, we are so lucky because the diversity of what you can do is immense. There are a lot of types of people who travel for diverse reasons – some want to see wildlife in the country, others want to experience new cultures and some want to see different landscapes. Then there are people like me who want to do it all but in Luxury.
I constantly get questions like. How did you plan your trip to Africa? Did you just get on a plane and wing it or did you research the heck out of it before you left? How did you pick going to Namibia?
I’ll answer them all right here.
I’ve always dreamed of going to Cape Town, South Africa and I had google alerts set to notifiy me when the next afforable flight came up. Unfortunatly everytime I was notified the prices were between $1300 – $1700 for economy round trip. No ma’am, not today. I almost gave up until……
While on a trip to Guatemala Matt’s sister called him with news there was a flight deal to Cape Town, South Africa for around $580 round trip. When he told me I knew that was the universe conspiring in my favor and we booked the tickets for my birthday ASAP. So technically yes! I did wing it, lol. The deal was for almost 3 weeks and I knew I did not want to be in Cape Town for that long so I researched other places to visit that was close by and Namibia kept coming up on my Radar as the hidden Gem of Southern Africa.
I seen photos of Walvis Bay “where the desert meets the ocean” I saw videos of Deadvlei “1000+ year old forest in the middle of the desert” and I read articles on the wildlife and Safaris Namibia had to offer and I was S.O.L.D
How did I plan our trip to Namibia?
I didn’t, I bought our flights there and had no idea how Matthew and I were going to get around or what we were going to do. Dumb right? I know.
I normally put together my own travel itineraries, but this time I couldn’t find much information on how to do things in Namibia, so I turned to @lazilia_travels and i’m so happy I found her. This black-owned travel agency is the definition of black excellence in the South of Africa—they curate an itinerary with beautiful hotels and unique experiences that will create memories to last a lifetime.
She makes sure that every single detail is taken care of from the beginning of your trip until the end—and everything in between. She also takes care of all logistics so you don’t have to worry about anything but enjoying yourself!
We were her first American clients, and because of that we went through hell and high water trying to get payment to her. It was either our banks wouldn’t accept sending her payment or her bank would bounce back our payment to her it was a huge headache!!! but, eventually, things got resolved and we were able to start our trip. I can imagine if you are from another country you will not have any issue getting her payment as needed.
@lazilia_travels specializes in creating itineraries for travelers who want to see more of the world while learning about the history and culture of the countries they visit. Their itineraries are specifically designed to appeal to travelers who want to do more than just lounge on a beach or visit tourist attractions. Which is 100% up my ally.
How a Travel Curator Can help you experience all of Namibia
Namibia is one of the most beautiful countries in the world—and it’s also incredibly diverse! From deserts to mountains (and everything in between), because the country is so vast it can be hard to navigate without knowing what exactly you want to do.
@lazilia_travels is your best bet for a hassle-free and unforgettable trip to Namibia and all around southern Africa.
Here’s why:
1. They curate unique travel itineraries at beautiful hotels, so you can focus on exploring and creating lasting memories.
2. @lazilia_travels is one of the only companies I found in Namibia that offers a complete package of services, including ground transportation, accommodations, excursions and activities, meals, cultural tours, and more at an affordable price so you don’t have to worry about coordinating with multiple vendors.
3. They know how to make your trip memorable! they’ve been in the business for years and the owner of the company is a Namibian Native so they know what works best for their clients—
4. @lazilia_travels has an amazing team that’s committed to delivering exceptional service every single time; which means you’ll enjoy your trip without worrying about anything else!
For this trip they have curated for us to stay in beautiful hotels that are hand-selected for their beauty, service, and food. This helps make lasting memories of your trip that you’ll never forget. Matt and I spent the night under the moon and stars. It’s 100% a memory I will never forget.
What I loved about @lazilia_travels is that this is a black owned company and they have years of experience in the industry, so they know exactly what kind of hotels to choose for you based on your preferences and budget. They also know how to get you great discounts on your stay!
When we arrived our phones were acting up. ATT&T told us our phones would work in the county and they did not. This was a terrible sign because we were about to do a road trip through Namibia with no form of communication in case something went wrong. To my surprise when@lazilia_travels greeted us she already had a paid for sim card on hand for us to use she helped make sure that nothing went wrong with our trip by being there from start to finish.
I’m so happy I found her and I can’t wait to connect with her again for her to curate our next trip, I’m thinking next time we’ll hit Tanzania. Stay tuned to find out.

I’m working on company shopping website that uses joomla as its server (if that’s the correct word). . Someone uploaded files with spaces and apostrophes in the wrong folder and Joomla won’t let me delete them in the usual way.. . How can I delete these files (or edit the file names so that they can then be deleted as normal)?. . I posted this question on the Joomla message board but so far no luck..
