Routines are very important to me. Without a routine, I would walk around all day like a chicken with its head cut off. The morning gets me ready to conquer the day. Walk up, Drink 16 oz of water, Meditate, Work out then skincare IN THAT ORDER. My Morning skincare is very important because with all the sweat on my face from my workout I can tend to get heat bumps and it’s not cute! Here is a step by step on my morning skincare routine.
- TAKE A COLD SHOWER
Since COVID-19 I have stopped going to the gym, Now I work out in my back yard, and the morning sun is normally blazing! For me, after a heavy long workout, a cold shower is the best! Plus having a cold shower has so many benefits for your skin and health. Cold showers help calm itchy skin, help reduce muscle soreness after a workout, helps with circulation in your body which can help aid in weight loss, and best of all gives your skin a healthy glow.
2. CLEANSE
Find your favorite cleanser. As you already know I love using African Black Soap I use Saint Siréne Beauty’s “SKIN GLOW” it is an African Black Soap mixed with different botanicals that help you get and keep healthy, glowing, clear skin. 3.MOISTURIZE
Moisturing you face is always important. You must always moisturize your skin. Moisturizing helps reduce chances of unwanted skin problems by keeping the skin hydrated. Keeping your skin properly hydrated can reduce the appearance of blemishes, fight wrinkles, and can help the skin stay elastic and young. Who doesn’t want that? 🙂
4.SUNSCREEN
I live in Florida where the sun is always blazing and you can cook an egg on the sidewalk on any given day. So sunscreen is vital!! SPF helps you against sunburns, sun damage to the skin, and discoloration of dark spots. I end my routine with a nice light 50+ SPF I use COSRX suncream. It’s lightweight and keeps my skin hydrated and dewy.
